It wasn't an oversight, my not mentioning the reporter that interviewed Bob (All Setter Rescue); I just didn't have all of the information. It was Stacey Donaldson that brought its TV viewers the story about Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital in Denver, and what Harrison, a non-profit animal hospital, does and contributes to the community. Stacey, "great job!" As you can see, up at our HOME page, watching TV and trying to get Stacey, Levi and Bob captured on my digital camera was quite a feat. However, I think I managed to get a little something. I know I missed a lot of good TV scenes when the pictures appeared, changed rapidly, and I wasn't quite "camera ready." Bringing the good news about good happenings is a breath of fresh air to all of us rescue workers and to those that believe rescue is important and our lifeline by being supportive. From the FOX-31 TV Website: http://www.fox31news.com Meteorologist Stacey Donaldson joined FOX-31 News in August 2002 as the weekend weather anchor. In March 2004 she was named weather anchor of “Good Day Colorado”. Prior to joining KDVR-TV Stacey anchored weather reports for WTTG-TV (FOX) in Washington D.C. Stacey is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has the National Weather Association’s seal of approval. Stacey’s career also includes serving as a weather anchor for WESH-TV (NBC) in Orlando, Florida and KARK-TV (NBC) in Little Rock, Arkansas. She began her television career in Yuma, Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Mississippi State University, where she completed her training as a Meteorologist. I will be contacting FOX-31 TV in the hopes of getting a tape of that special day. And, it was very special to us. More later, Barb |
